Not so good news

I just got word from my mom. After having my grandfather undergone a battery of medical exams last week, the results show that my dear lolo has an enlarged heart and for the first time in his life, his blood sugar levels are high. I guess most of it is due to old age. He is, after all, turning 88 in May. But still, we are very much concerned about his health, especially since he lives alone in our provincial home in Cebu.

In a way, I am glad that they had found about this as early as now so that my family can take care of him better and monitor his health even closer. Let's hope that it is not a sign of bad times to come.
