As we are going home for the Holidays this year, J said that he will endeavour to invest in my grandfather's goat farm, one that he has sort of promised to my grandfather when we last saw him during our trip last year. My Lolo also brought J to see our fish ponds where we raise milkfish and seaweed, and sell to the local market. I'm pretty sure Lolo used to have pond filters when he was raising prawns in the 90's. But I don't think he uses them now. Just the same, the fish and seaweed business also seem to be a worthwhile business venture. We'll all see how everything works out. Hopefully when we all get together in December, J will have decided in what business to invest in.

Tightening the Belt
While I would love to shop (which female doesn't?) and upgrade my wardrobe a little bit more, I think I have to postpone that bit for a while. I posted earlier how much our bills have been growing, and hubby just confirmed that last night with me, giving me facts and figures that I was afraid to confront. I guess that additional car will also have to wait as I have other priorities in mind like getting term life quote now that theoretically I can afford it. Ah yes, back to budgeting!

Ambivalent
Gosh, this financial crises sure is a major one. The exchange rates has surprised me because my stint in paid blogging allows me to change my earnings to the Aussie Dollar and the difference is sometimes really huge! Personally, it is a good thing because I get paid more, but J reckons it isn't a great thing for the economy. Well, I believe him, as he has worked in Finance before and he knows what he's talking about. These are trying times indeed.

Dream On
One of the few things that J and I dream about when the time comes for us to retire is to have a business of our own. I think it is more so with J as he really seems to be keen on the idea of being his own boss and managing a really good enterprise. It is usually the topic of discussion between him and his younger brother, as they most often brainstorm on business ideas whenever they get together. And while they are into that, they might as well consider what business performance management software will be needed in order for their endeavors to succeed. Well, dream on, after all dreams are free! :)

For the future
When you have a family of your own, you begin to think more of long-term plans rather than the short ones. You have a family now to consider and their future is what holds most important.
One of the most common investments one can get into is to get one own's house so that someday your children and the future generation of your family can inherit it. It would be ideal to consult real estate agents when you're shopping around for a good property. Corpus Christi real estate can probably be something worth considering. Invest properly in something that will grow in value over the years. You will surely reap the rewards sooner than you know it.

Clueless
Yup, that about sums it up for me at least. When it comes to money matters, that is. Although I loved math when I was still a student, I can't quite explain why I am such a dunce in financial matters. It's a good thing that I have a husband who once worked in the banking industry so I turn to him whenever I encounter big terms like stocks and futures broker. He is able to explain the concepts to me in layman's terms so I can get a better understanding. Also, without him, I don't know how I'll be able to manage our finances very wisely. He is a Godsend! :)

Be an affiliate
Speaking of poker players, do you know that you can earn cash by recruiting people to play in one of those online casinos? Well, now that is a reality. You just have to join the online casino affiliate program offered by C-Planet.
You can also earn commission by promoting their brands, like sending traffic to their website or promoting them through CDs or flyers. There is no need to pay for a registration fee to be a member. They offer in-depth and accurate statistics of traffic so you are sure that they are tracking the activity you generate when you bring in people to their site. Now that's another online paying opportunity again for you.

Investing Tips
The Christmas season is not only a time of shopping and expenses. I am sure for those of you working, you have somehow received a bonus or an increase in your payslip this month. Better stash away that extra cash for a rainy day. Or better yet, invest your money in gold bullions.
Buying gold is a new option for those who want to protect their finances from possible bank panics. They can be stored in secure areas and you know that your finances are well preserved in this type of investment. Check out the gold price chart so you know how much gold is worth in the present time.

Playing Online
I like playing games on the internet, but most of them are the arcade and puzzle types. I am not into gambling but for those who like to play online poker, then make it a point to check out Bet365poker.com.
I am sure my stepdad (who likes playing poker on his PC) will be interested in it because of its great online betting services and efficient wallet system. Plus, they offer a very secure online environment so you know you will be in safe hands.

Need cash?
In times of desperate need for cash even when you have had a bad credit history, you have to thank the heavens for companies that offer you bad credit loans. Getting a personal loan from them is as easy as pie because you can do this on their website. All can be done in the comforts of your home. This is particularly good news for all concerned expecially on this holiday season of seemingly endless expenses.

Fast cash
With the holidays drawing near, shopping for loved ones is inevitable. It is common knowledge that we all go a little broke once the holidays are over because of the enormous amount of shopping we must do. Gift-giving has now been a tradition that sometimes we go way over our monthly budgets just to make ends meet.
Well, these days, you can thank the heavens for payday loans. They are short-term cash advances that you can avail of if you need to stretch your budget a little more. They are safe and secure so you know you can rely on them in times of emergencies when you are short on cash.
I personally will try my best not to go over our budget for this Christmas, but I will not promise anything. If something out of the blue happens and we might need to spend a little more, we just might consider that cash advance as a fallback.

Thinking of the future
When you have a young family like ours, it just makes sense to draw up long-term goals and think of the future of your family, especially your kids. Getting family insurance is ideal because life can have its surprises, pleasant or otherwise. So it is best to be prepared always.
When searching for the best policy, make sure to do your homework and get insurance quotes from as many companies possible so you can save money on insurance premium and still get a good coverage. Advantage Term Life can do just the job for you.

Making Ends Meet
Have you ever been in a situation where you shopped quite a bit and when it was time to pay up, you opened your purse only to find out that you were short on cash? That would be some nightmare, I know. But I have been in such a situation before. It was good thing though that my mom was meeting up with me in a few minutes so I saved myself from the embarrassment.
In times when you are not so sure if you are going to make ends meet in terms of finances, it might be worth your while to consider getting Faxless Payday Loans. With the internet these days, you can apply for one online within minutes and you are on your way to probably getting that much needed financial help that you need. Let's face it. Not all of us are lucky or blessed to have a hefty savings account to speak of. Things like short-term loans are perfect because it can help us get through the financial bumps in our lives.
