finally, we have a florist! i met with Yolly and Rex of flora@eleven_01 (yup, that's their new business name)to discuss the general details of our floral requirement for the bridal entourage. we were able to talk about the flowers as well as fillers that we will be using for the bouquets. this was based mainly on ideas that i got from the web and of course, on our wedding color motif. i already paid them the downpayment to book them on our wedding date na.
so far, we have finalized the following details. here is our bridal entourage requirement:
Freebies:
basically, we will be using roses, calla lilies, carnations and fillers (e.g., hypernicum berries, foliage, gypsophilia, wax flowers, etc.). i'm pretty happy with the choices. :)
Two-in-One Map to St. James the Great & The Palms Country Club
thanks to Tin AKA Mrs. Schmuck, i was able to get a 2-in-1 map to St. James the Great Parish and The Palms. the only hitch here was that it was in MS Visio format, which i (nor joseph) do not have. :( i have also inquired with some computer shops if they can support such a file format. negative din daw.
but luckily now, i don't have to fret anymore. Catleya, a fellow w@wie and st james/the palms bride, requested a copy of it. i asked her if she can convert it to jpeg so that i can print it na rin for our invitations. she replied with a copy of it in jpeg format and one also in MS word where she pasted the MS visio version on (which i was also able to access, by the way). thanks catleya, you're truly heaven-sent!
you can check out the map HERE. now, on to other details... :)
On Metro Weddings Magazine - July to December 2005 Issue
hmmm... i wasn't so impressed with this issue. first of all, the fonts were too small and therefore, tedious to read. second, the photos weren't as vibrant as that of the previous ish. feeling ko tinipid. tapos, there are soooo many ads! almost every spread had an advertisement of some supplier. :(
i also noticed that they have a different editor-in-chief now. it's not Daphne OseƱa-Paez anymore. i wonder what happened...
